Who Are We?
Runmaka VR Ltd is a UK based start-up company aiming to provide a unique immersive VR training environment, with the potential to support coaches and coaching. Founded and created by cricket coaches, Runmaka understands the need for players to have a volume of training and the more balls that a batter can hit, the more their game will improve. Within the app, using innovative technology, players can hit in the range of six hundred balls in an hour, meaning that their movements and skills can develop in quicker time than in person.
Runmaka also allows those beginning their cricketing journey to test out their skills against the ball coming down, without the fear of impact, something that can be key to a young player's enjoyment of the game. This can help players in multiple aspects from digging out yorkers, to getting in behind short pitched bowling without the fear of the hard ball.

The Team
Julian Wyatt
Founder
Julian is an ex professional cricketer with Somerset CCC (1983-89) and Level IV UKCC Master Coach. Julian has over 35 years coaching experience, ranging from grass roots development to academy / county second 11 programmes preparing elite young cricketers for the professional game.
Business experience was formed whlist being CEO of Mid Canterbury Cricket Association 2004-07 and University of Exeter Director of Cricket 2009-16
Brad Thatcher
Founder
Brad is a 1st class honours graduate from Solent University in Sports and Business Management. Brad has published an academic paper in the International Sports Coaching Journal (2020), detaling the barriers and opportunities for implementing Virtual Reality in elite sports environments.
Brad has 5 years experience working in the construction industry managing technology projects
Neil Taylor
Founder
Neil has decades of experience in the construction industry. In 1990, he changed jobs to follow his passion that was new and inovative, Dimond Drilling & Sawing.
